A Life's Work in the Art of Collecting: Einar Økland
Author and cultural historian Einar Økland argues that some people collect for themselves, others collect knowledge. He himself has written or edited more than a hundred books over 60 years, his own texts have been translated into 18 languages - and he has been collecting for almost as long as he has been alive.
In January 2025, Økland turned 85. What has Økland been collecting all these years, why - and not least: How does his collecting mania fit in with his poetry? These questions are likely to be answered in the conversation between Økland and former publisher and editor-in-chief Sverre Tusvik.
This event will be in Norwegian.
