Johannes Anyuru

Johannes Anyuru (b. 1979, Sweden) is a poet and author. 

He has written several novels and poetry collections that reflect his personal life and experiences. He uses various genres and formats in his work including science-fiction and dystopian fiction.

Anyuru has also worked as a spoken word poet and toured with the  National Swedish Touring Theatre  with the work called Abstrakt rap.

He’s the recipient of various literary awards including  the August prize twice in 2012 and 2017.
