Øyvind Rimbereid

Nikita Solenov

Øyvind Rimbereid (b. 1966, Norway) is a Norwegian author. He holds a cand. philol. degree majoring in Norwegian language and literature from the University of Bergen.

He began his writing career in 1993 with the short story collection Det har begynt (It has begun). His first poetry collection Seine topografiar was published in 2000. His best known work is his poetry collection Solaris korrigert, for which he received the Kritiker prize in 2004. His latest publi­ca­tion, Hvit hare, grå hare, svart, was published in 2019. Rimbereid has been the recipient of various awards including the Kritikar Prize twice, the Brage Prize, the Dobloug Prize and the Gyldendal Prize.
