Ingunn Lunde

Paul Meurer

Ingunn Lunde (b 1969, Norway) is a professor of Russian at the University of Bergen. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, language politics, Slavic middle age culture and Russian literature from the 1800s to current day.

Her latest book Fragmenter av fortid: Historiens rolle i russisk samtidslitteratur was published in 2019.

Included in her book publications are Verbal Celebrations: Kirill of Turov’s Homiletic Rhetoric and its Byzantine Sources and eleven edited article collections, including (with Michael S. Gorham and Martin Paulsen) Digital Russia: The Language, Culture and Politics of New Media Communication. Her book Language on Display: Writers, Fiction and Linguistic Culture in Post-Soviet Russia was published in 2018.
