Olaug Nilssen

Olaug Nilssen (b 1977, Norway) is an author resident in Bergen whose breakthrough came in 2005 with Få meg på, for faen.

She has subsequently written books in many genres and established herself as an important voice in Norwegian literature and social debate. 

Tung tids tale (2017), about being the mother of a severely disabled child, won her the Brage Prize and the New Norwegian Literature Prize. 

Published in the autumn of 2020, Yt etter evne, få etter behov was nominated for the Brage Prize.
