Marte Michelet (b 1975, Norway) is a journalist, commentator and author.
She has previously worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and as debate and comment editor for Dagbladet. Her writing covers such topics as feminism, immigration, integration and asylum policy.
Michelet made her literary debut in 2014 with Den største forbrytelsen, a book about the extermination of Norway’s Jews which won the Brage Prize for non-fiction. It has been filmed, with its premiere due just before the end of 2020. I 2017, she published Hva visste hjemmefronten? and received the Booksellers Non-Fiction Prize for this book in 2019.
