Kristian Bjørkelo

Kristian Bjørkelo (b 1978, Norway) is a folklorist, writer and debater on social issues. He is working on a PhD in connection with a project on games and transgressive aesthetics, where his focus is on the extremes of gaming culture.

This follows from a long-standing interests in political and cultural fringes, including extremist environments which he has followed since the early 2000s. He published Gi meg en scene!, on Norwegian blogging history, in 2013 and Ekstremisme in 2016.
