Ina Strøm (b 1983, Norway) is educated as a journalist and has broad experience from the media, including the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). She was a trainee at Norway’s Tokyo embassy and has visited Japan regularly over the past 12 years.
She made her literary debut in 2018 with Alt dette er Tokyo – Japan sett fra gateplan, which received positive reviews.
Her 2020 book En japansk vår – På reise gjennom et evig forbløffende land takes the reader on a spectacular and distinctive journey from south to north in Japan, and from prehistoric times to the present day. It garnered very positive reviews, particularly in Aftenposten and Dagens Næringsliv.
