Tonje Vold

Tonje Vold (b 1972, Norway) is an associate professor in the department of archivistics, library and information science at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. Her thesis for a PhD in general comparative literature dealt with the work of South African author J M Coetzee.

Vold has published articles on world literature, whiteness and ethics, and co-edited the anthologies Litteratur- og kulturformidling. Nye analyser og perspektiver (with H Ridderstrøm, 2015) and Litteratursosiologiske perspektiv (with K Oterholm and J K Smidt, 2013). Her book Å lese verden. Fra imperieblikk og postkolonialisme til verdenslitteratur og økokritikk is due out in the spring of 2019.
