What is Cuban dissident literature? Abraham Jiménez Enoa was forced into exile in Spain after criticising the Cuban government. The 2024 Rafto Prize went to artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, who was imprisoned for using art as a political expression. 

What problems does Cuban dissident culture face? Who are the key members of this group, and how has this kind of literature been received in Norway? These are some of the questions to be discussed in the conversation between author Abraham Jiménez, cultural worker Adri González, emeritus associate professor of Latin American literature Jon Askeland and publisher and translator Signe Prøis.
