Kristina Leganger Iversen

Kristina Leganger Iversen (b 1989, Norway) is an author who made her debut in 2011 with the Hjartemekanikk poetry collection and published the novel I ringane in 2015.

In 2018, she defended her PhD thesis at the University of Oslo on Når dikta tiltaler nasjonen. Kvitheit, kolonialitet og subjektivitet i sju samtidige skandinaviske diktbøker, where she investigates the role played by skin colour and whiteness in contemporary Scandinavian poetry.

With Camara Lundestad Joof, she has translated US author Claudia Rankine’s book Citizen (2014) into Norwegian (Medborgar, 2018).
