Ramin Naqshbandi

Ramin Naqshbandi (b 1992, Afghanistan) is a visual artist and has done painting, photography and artistic installations. He graduated from the law and political science faculty of Aria University at Mazar e Sharif in Balkh province. He joined the Afghanistan PEN Centre in 2013 as publications officer. During his tenure with the centre, Ramin has designed and edited more than 50 books. He has also participated in national and international art exhibitions. His solo exhibitions are Red in Mazar e Sharif, Big Black Bull in Kabul and Chemical Sleep in Kabul and Mazar e Sharif. Ramin has also managed and conducted several art and culture workshops in Kabul and Balkh province.
