Bjørn Vatne

Bjørn Vatne (b 1976, Norway) is an author who made his literary debut with the novel Slik skal vi velge våre ofre in 2015. He won the Norwegian Book Blogger prize for best novel in the same year.

Vatne has contributed to such publications as Vinduet and Granta, and worked for several years as a journalist. He published the novel Nullingen av Paul Abel in 2018, a dystopian vision of the future where Norway has constructed a network of deep collective consciousness among its inhabitants.

Vatne won the Stig Sæterbakken Memorial Prize in the same year.
